Seven Post-Resurrection Appearances Of Jesus In The Gospels

There are seven post-resurrection appearances of Jesus in the Gospels:

1) Mary Magdalene - John 20:14-17

2) All the women - Matthew 28:5-10

3) Two disciples on the road to Emmaus - Luke 24:13-32; Mark 16:12

4) Eleven in the upper room - Mark 16:14; Luke 24:36-49; John 20:19-23

5) To Thomas - John 20:26-29

6) Peter and six other apostles fishing - John 21:4-23

7) He ascends from the Mount of Olives - Mark 16:19; Luke 24:50-51 (see also Acts 1:6-9)

Various passages refer to Jesus appearing to Peter first. It is true as a statement of fact, but there are no actual recorded accounts of that event; only passages and people referring to it.
