14 Passages In The Bible That Teach Jesus Will Be Raised On The Third Day
There are 14 passages in the Bible that speak about Jesus being raised (also other forms of the word, or healed) on the third day. The first three are types or pictures of Jesus, the last 11 are direct statements about Him being raised up:
1) Genesis 22:4
Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
See the explanation of this type:
Hebrews 11:17-19 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
